Pitbull Bbq was started because I wanted something healthier to go on whatever I was putting on the grill or in my smoker. I was tired of seeing all the artificial ingredients and ingredients I couldn't pronounce on the nutritional label. I did not want that in any of my products. None of my products contain artificial ingredients, artificial stabilizers, or artificial sweeteners. I started to make sugar free dry rubs as I was asked if I made any sugar free Bbq sauces. I have not been able to make a quality sugar free sauce using sugar alternatives. I figured that a good quality dry rub would be a good compromise and I was right. My dry rubs are delicious on their own and because they are sugar free they won't turn into a brick if you don't use them for a while. I do make one dry rub with maple sugar. I have found that after opening, the sugar won't caramelize like the sugars in most dry rubs.
